A man and woman have been accused of petit larceny after stealing merchandise from a Long Island retailer, police say.

Police are on the lookout for a man and woman suspected of stealing items valued at $495 from Stop & Shop in Islandia (1730 Veterans Memorial Highway) on Friday, June 28 around 10:15 p.m.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fourth Precinct Crime Section officers are on the lookout for a man and woman, pictured above, who are suspected of stealing items from Stop & Shop in Islandia (1730 Veterans Memorial Highway) on Friday, June 28 around 10:15 p.m.

The merchandise was valued at approximately $495, according to police.
